Next Up, LA! There's Some Great Architecture There

Starting with the quite imposing, and great Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, looming over the Hollywood Freeway as it slices through downtown LA.  The building was designed by Spanish architect Raphael Moneo, and built in this century. Perhaps its most notable feature is the alabaster used for the windows, which bathes the interior in a soft warm light.  I find it to be one of the most profoundly moving buildings I've seen anywhere. It's just an awesome structure.
