Next Up: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

We spent three nights here. KL (as the locals call it) is a big city with a multicultural culture. Predominantly  Muslim, there are sizable Chinese, Indian and Christian minorities and everyone seems quite proud of this diversity. It has a modern easy to use and cheap transit system so it's easy to get around. It's also hot, humid, polluted and noisy with all the motorbikes. China town is great, with lot's of action and lots of ice cold beer = people watching. We met an Aussie and two Scottish women there over beers and they invited us to BBQ the next night at their place in an upscale suburb. We used uber to get there! Stopped on the way at grocery store to pick up beer and ice- it was the most beautiful grocery store I've ever seen.
The old railway station

KL has lots of freeways
