The first photograph is of a model of the Titanic at the dock #43, 44 from which she departed Southampton on April 10, 1912. I took the photo yesterday in Cherbourg at the Gare Maritime. The second photo I took this evening from on board Queen Mary 2, as we departed Southampton, from dock 46, looking down towards 43, 44, as it is today.
